About the Role
The Weekend Option Supervisor RN at Aspen Trace plays a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care during weekend shifts. This position involves overseeing nursing staff, coordinating patient care activities, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and policies. The Supervisor will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and implementing effective nursing practices. Additionally, this role requires strong leadership skills to mentor and guide nursing staff while fostering a collaborative team environment. Ultimately, the Supervisor’s efforts will contribute to the overall well-being and satisfaction of our residents, making a significant impact on their quality of life.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and support nursing staff during weekend shifts to ensure optimal patient care.
- Conduct regular assessments of patient conditions and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care for residents.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Provide training and mentorship to nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Our ideal candidate
Minimum Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing.
- Certification in nursing leadership or management.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
