What are the responsibilities and job description for the Emergency Department Technician - EMT position at Aspen Valley Hospital?
We are currently hiring for a PRN Emergency Department Technician EMT to work rotating shift within our Emergency Department.
Compensation Range:
$24.86 - $39.78 per hour
Night and weekend shift differentials up to $6 per hour!
The compensation range listed is an estimate. Final compensation will be determined based on your qualifications including years of experience performing similar work, level of formal education in a relevant field of study, and any professional certifications related to the position.
Requirements:
- Unrestricted license to practice as a Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date
- Completion of CDPHE-recognized IV Approval course
- Basic Life Support (BLS). May be obtained upon hire.
Preferred:
- Advanced EMT or Paramedic preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Position Overview:
The Emergency Department Technician - EMT assists with patient care under the supervision of physicians, advanced practice providers, and nurses, and also performs administrative tasks to support the effective delivery of care.
