Medical Records Technician

We are currently hiring for a Full-Time Medical Records Technician to work day shift within our Health Information Management Department.

Compensation Range:

$21.51 - $34.42 per hour

The compensation range listed is an estimate. Final compensation will be determined based on your qualifications including years of experience performing similar work, level of formal education in a relevant field of study, and any professional certifications related to the position.

Requirements:

Preferred:

• Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) preferred.
• Experience working in acute care hospital medical record department preferred.
• Experience with EPIC preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

The Medical Records Technician compiles, scans, processes, and maintains medical records consistent with medical, administrative, ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements. Utilizes electronic health record system for inquiry purposes, enters and sends
