What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacist position at Aspen Valley Hospital?
We are currently hiring for a PRN Clinical Pharmacist to work rotating shift within our Clinical Pharmacy.
Compensation Range:
$70.94 - $113.51 per hour
Night and weekend shift differentials up to $6 per hour!
The compensation range listed is an estimate. Final compensation will be determined based on your qualifications including years of experience performing similar work, level of formal education in a relevant field of study, and any professional certifications related to the position.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
- Unrestricted license to practice as a Pharmacist (PHA) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date
- Basic Life Support (BLS). May be obtained upon hire.
- At least one year of experience in a hospital pharmacy practice or equivalent.
Preferred:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Experience with EPIC preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Position Overview:
Clinical Pharmacists are responsiblefor coordinating clinical pharmacy services and verifying that thepharmacy provides optimal clinical services on a daily basis. Our team provides specialty pharmacy services including pharmacokinetic monitoring, dosing services, and drug therapy consultation services. Clinical Pharmacists facilitate thedevelopment, implementation, and maintenance of systems and guidelines that promote desirablepatient outcomes through the use of appropriate, safe, cost-effective drugtherapies.
