We are currently seeking a Loading Dock Installer / Specialist to join our growing team. This role is critical to ensuring the proper installation, operation, and maintenance of loading dock equipment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering top-notch results in a fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Install, maintain, and repair loading dock equipment, including dock levelers, vehicle restraints, dock seals, and shelters, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.Conduct site assessments to confirm installation readiness and resolve potential challenges.Assemble, align, and secure new equipment for proper functionality and safety compliance.Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues promptly, providing on-site repairs and adjustments as needed.Test and inspect all installed or repaired equipment to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.Travel as necessary to customer sites, job locations, or other facilities to perform installations, repairs, and assessments.Collaborate with team members to enhance installation processes and address technical challenges.Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service calls, including completing necessary documentation.Ensure adherence to safety protocols and use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.Communicate effectively with customers, providing guidance on equipment operation and maintenance.Fulfill other duties as assigned by the manager.JOB QUALIFICATIONS :
1-3 years of experience in equipment installation, construction, or a related field.Technical training or certification in mechanical or electrical systems is a plus.Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions.Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and customer service abilities.Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.At Asphalt Contractors, Inc., we embrace diversity and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
