KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop accurate estimates for asphalt and concrete projects by analyzing requirements, blueprints, specifications, and site conditions.
- Collaborate with clients to gather project details and respond to service inquiries.
- Coordinate with the sales team and clients to clarify project scope, materials, and specifications, offering insights into cost impacts.
- Manage and update all project information within our proprietary CRM, following ACI's estimating and project management processes.
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing for materials, labor, and other components.
- Assess project risks, identifying strengths and weaknesses to evaluate overall feasibility.
- Work with internal teams to initiate job creation, ensuring accurate project details for production and scheduling.
- Provide updates on estimate status and collaborate with teams to address any client-driven changes.
- Build positive relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in estimating for paving and concrete projects.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in cost analysis and bidding.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
- Familiarity with construction software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to accuracy and detail.
- A valid driver's license.
