Description
Asphalt Green, Battery Park City, is looking to hire enthusiastic Water Exercise Instructors to teach classes including but not limited to Hydro Fit, Warm Water Exercise, Deep Water Running and Aqua Zumba, at various weekday and weekend times. We offer competitive rates and a positive, welcoming work environment.
Instructors are expected to:
· Have experience teaching water exercise in a group setting.
· Have experience integrating aqua dumbbells, barbells, and noodles in a group class setting.
· Continually offer feedback to class participants, always coach to the positive.
· Demonstrate all movements properly.
· Have a good movement toolbelt. Instructors should be able to spot movement flaws quickly and correct participants within 1-2 cues.
· Have experience (or be comfortable) being mic’d up.
· Understand that empathy for students brings success to the instructor and to the class.
· Ability to lift and move class equipment.

Qualifications
- a current water exercise certification.
- a valid CPR certification.
Salary : $50 - $55
