**Position Overview:**
As an Asphalt Laborer, you will be an essential part of our paving crew, working on various projects throughout the Columbus area. No experience is necessary as we provide comprehensive on-the-job training. However, candidates with prior experience in asphalt work are highly preferred.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of asphalt surfaces.
- Operate equipment such as rakes, shovels, and tampers.
- Load and unload materials and tools.
- Ensure job sites are clean and safe.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and foremen.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations.
**Qualifications:**
- No prior experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Prior experience in asphalt or construction work is a plus.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.
