What We Are Looking For :
This actuarial role is dedicated to supporting the projections function for Aspida Financial, based in Durham, NC. This position will play a key role in our growth strategy through active participation in the projection processes for retail and reinsurance businesses. This role reports to the AVP, Corporate Actuary, and is required to be onsite 3 days a week at our Durham, NC office.
What You Will Do :
- Responsible for supporting development of financial projections used throughout the business
- Analyze sources of earnings analysis and explain drivers of results.
- Support enterprise financial planning by assisting quarterly forecasts.
- Assist in the enhancement of existing processes and analytics with a focus on controls and consistency.
- Collaborate with our business partners in operations, pricing, and finance to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Support ad hoc projects and processes for new products and acquisitions.
- Stays informed regarding industry trends and information as well as the regulatory landscape both domestically and internationally.
- Partners with actuarial resources across the organization to work on special projects as needed.
