What We Are Looking For :

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to oversee and manage the company’s vendor operations. This role involves developing strategies to source and acquire products and services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that procurement activities align with business goals. The Procurement Manager will collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to optimize costs, improve efficiency, and maintain high-quality standards. This role reports to the Chief Information Officer and is required to be onsite 3 days a week at our Durham, NC headquarters.

What You Will Do :

• Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company objectives and ensure cost-effective sourcing.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure sustainable cost-saving terms for goods and services.
• Monitor and analyze market trends to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement in sourcing practices.
• Ensure compliance with legal, environmental, and company regulations in all procurement activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of procurement strategies.
• Integration of procurement and third-party risk with Enterprise Risk Management
• Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team to drive efficiency and high performance.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to procurement costs, supplier performance, and process improvements.
• Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to vendor performance or supply chain disruptions.
• Identify and implement AI tools and technologies that enhance and automate procurement processes.
• Simply put, find the right vendor to provide the right service at the best price.
