Key Responsibilities:
- Expert Technical Leadership: Oversee and manage the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of the most complex and advanced HVAC systems.
- Handle the most intricate HVAC issues with advanced diagnostic techniques and innovative solutions.
- Provide expert advice on system issues, optimization, and integration for new installations and upgrades, ensuring peak system performance and efficiency.
- Mentor and coach Level 1 through Level 4 technicians, providing advanced training, guidance, and support to foster professional growth and technical proficiency.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, addressing their needs with a high level of professionalism and ensuring superior customer satisfaction.
- Ensure all HVAC work complies with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies. Lead efforts to promote a culture of safety within the team.
- Stay at the forefront of industry trends and technologies, driving innovation and continuous improvement in HVAC practices and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent; advanced technical education or degree in HVAC or related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of extensive experience in HVAC service and repair, including leadership roles.
- EPA 608 Certification (Type I, II, or Universal) is required; additional certifications such as NATE (North American Technician Excellence) are highly desirable.
- Mastery of HVAC systems, including complex refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, and advanced airflow principles.
- Proven track record of leading teams, managing large projects, and developing talent within the organization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and management.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a strong focus on innovative solutions and continuous improvement.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
- Extensive experience with cutting-edge HVAC technologies and large-scale system installations.
- Advanced knowledge of energy efficiency and sustainable HVAC practices.
- Strong background in HVAC system design and engineering.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
