Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership
- Develop and implement SaaS pricing strategies aligned with market trends and customer needs
- Partner with the CEO and leadership team as a strategic advisor on critical business decisions
- Transform finance into a data- and action-oriented team delivering real-time insights across the organization, fostering a One Team culture that is driven to achieve Excellence
- Lead and own board financial communications and investor updates with clear, data-backed insights, upholding our commitment to Radical Transparency
- Drive a self-sustaining flywheel rooted in Customer Obsession, where delivering greater value fuels growth, creating a business model that benefits both customers and shareholders.
- Back all revenue initiatives with robust financial modeling, ROI analysis, and performance tracking to achieve Excellence
- Implement SaaS waterfall models to track revenue retention, expansion, churn, and contraction
- Create and maintain customer and product analytics frameworks for growth visibility
- Drive Forward Momentum by partnering with the COO on cost-saving initiatives and enforcing smarter spending
- Optimize credit card processing to reduce transaction costs
- Negotiate vendor contracts to minimize liabilities and optimize profitability
- Automate core finance activities while maintaining accuracy and compliance
- Implement AI-driven financial analytics for real-time visibility into costs and margin performance
- Collaborate with CTO to ensure R&D investments are strategically allocated and optimized
- Develop and enforce an R&D financial framework to maximize shareholder value from technology investments
- Leverage data to uncover customer and product insights for data-driven decision-making
- MBA preferred with 10 years of finance leadership experience, preferably in B2B SaaS or marketplace businesses
- Private equity experience preferred, ideally with a multi-sponsor and exit track record
- Proven track record in scaling revenue, optimizing cost structures, and leading finance teams through transformation
- Deep expertise in SaaS pricing models, unit economics, FP&A, and operational finance
- Strong background in cost optimization and investor communications
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical financial practices and Win with Integrity principles
