Your Impact
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for management of all general maintenance of buildings and grounds as well as supervising maintenance and janitorial staff. Major responsibilities include building maintenance and repair, inventory, equipment and vehicle maintenance monitoring, facility safety monitoring, and violation reporting.
Your Skills And Duties
- Inform Associate Division Director, Operations when repairs or materials need to be purchased, for approval.
- Oversee vendor relationships, ensure timely processing of financial requests, and manage maintenance operations within budgetary constraints.
- Ensure facilities are used in accordance with agency policies.
- Attend required meetings and trainings.
- Be responsible for inventory management and safeguard agency’s resources including vehicles, equipment, supplies and similar items to prevent loss or wastage.
- Ensure appropriate and safe condition and operation of facility, equipment, vehicles and supplies, communicating project status updates or safety concerns.
- Conduct periodic inventories of agency items.
- Report any and all possible or actual violations of State and agency regulations to Associate Division Director, Operations.
- Conduct bi monthly supervision with all maintenance and janitorial staff.
- Represent the agency in a professional manner, support and model Aspiranet’s values, and abide by the agency’s Professional Code of Ethics.
- Maintain appropriate professional boundaries with staff, clients and community resources.
- Maintain client and case confidentiality per licensing and agency standards.
- Demonstrate sensitivity and responsiveness to cultural differences.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by Associate Division Director, Operations.
- Minimum five years’ experience in the building/maintenance field
- Ability to perform, supervise and provide direction of the following tasks: painting, general carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, landscaping maintenance and facility remodel/ improvement
- Meets all state required conditions of employment as set forth by Community Care Licensing for a Licensed Community Care facility; i.e. Fingerprint and Child Abuse Index clearance, TB/Health Physical, valid CDL and clean driving record

- Must be able to comprehend, follow, and clearly convey instructions to others.
- Must be computer proficient and be able to work on a computer for up to 10 hours per week.
- Must be able to handle or manipulate objects, tools, and operate controls.
- Must be able to reach for stacked products, store and retrieve file boxes on high shelves.
- Must be able to push, pull, lift and/or carry as much as 40 lbs.
- Must have the ability and skill to drive a vehicle.
