What are the responsibilities and job description for the SY24-25 Aspire Academy Shuttle Driver (Part Time) position at ASPIRE ACADEMY?
Location: Aspire Academy
- Safely operate a school vehicle along assigned routes, ensuring students are picked up and dropped off on time.
- Create, Follow and adhere to route sheets, including designated stops and schedules.
- Maintain accurate transportation documentation, such as daily logs, student rosters, and incident reports.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and report any maintenance needs.
- Promote a positive and respectful environment for all students while maintaining discipline and safety on the vehicle.
- Communicate with school administration regarding delays, route changes, or other transportation-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with all state and local transportation regulations.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience working with children or in a similar role is a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to remain calm and focused in unexpected situations.
- Punctuality and reliability are a must.
