Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair all manufacturing equipment, including wrappers, mixers, motors, conveyors, and refrigeration systems.
- Install, program, and repair automated machinery and equipment such as robots and PLCs.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment, including cleaning and lubricating shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
- Repair and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
- Assist Mechanics in troubleshooting and repair of electrical or controls related failures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience maintaining manufacturing systems and equipment in an automated plant.
- A background in full machine and electrical control system design, installation, and commissioning.
- Rockwell PLC and Drives certification is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with food plant operations and regulations is preferred.
- Strong mechanical background in a production setting, including troubleshooting and repairing gearboxes, conveyors, sprocket/chains, belts, clutches, and brakes.
- Ability to work any shift, including weekends and holidays.
