We are seeking an experienced and skilled Electrician to join our maintenance team in a high-speed food manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and components to ensure optimal production performance. This role requires adherence to safety, food safety, and quality standards while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities : n\n \n\t
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical issues in production machinery, conveyor systems, motors, and other equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical components to reduce downtime and ensure smooth operation.
- Repair and replace faulty electrical components such as fuses, circuit breakers, relays, switches, and wiring.
- Ensure all electrical systems comply with regulatory standards, including food safety requirements.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints & schematics
- Troubleshoot and repair 3-phase components
- PLC’s – connect to and understand ladder logic, being able to make adjustments to logic as required.
- Motor troubleshooting and diagnostics – identify defects and repair
- Understand and troubleshoot electrical safety circuits.
