Assists the Production Supervisor in ensuring that manufacturing processes run reliably and efficiently. Responsible for making sure that all work duties within a production environment are coordinated properly and carried out as they should be.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for recordkeeping of dough weight, dough temps, oven temps, and freezer temp.
- Maintain log for oven checks throughout the shift, and notes adjustments in comment section of the log.
- Verify staff on shift arrives on schedule and that all positions are staffed.
- Provides back-up to any empty position on shift.
- Assists maintenance with machine assembly to start production for the week.
- Responsible for all machinery, equipment, and personnel while on shift.
- Reports directly to Production Supervisor
- Follows rules and regulations to ensure food safety, quality, and legality.
- Maintains and establishes effective working relationships
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or GED is required
- Three years of manufacturingexperience
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
