GENERAL NATURE OF WORK : Under general supervision, provides direct, technicalnursing care functions in accordance with individual nursing care plans and / oras directed by attending physician / clinician. Takes vital signs, administersmedications, records required information in consumers' charts, observesreactions and prepares consumers for examinations as necessary. Will also assistwith wellness and see substance abuse as needed in the afternoons.QUALIFICATIONS : A Current Georgia license to practice as a licensed practicalnurse.OTHER DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS APPLICABLE TO THIS POSITION : (X) A pre-employment physical required for appointment to position.(X) A fingerprint criminal records investigation required for appointment toposition.(X) Pre-employment drug testing and random alcohol / drug testing required forappointment to position.(X) Males between 18 and 26 years of age required to present proof of havingregistered with the Selective Services System as required by federal law or ofbeing exempt from such registration.(X) A transcript (Primary Source) from the college that granted your hoursand / or degree will need to be furnished to the Personnel Office with applicationmaterials for verification.
