Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct support to clients while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments to determine the needs of clients.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis principles.
- Collect and analyze data to track client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
- Provide training and support to staff on behavioral therapy techniques and best practices.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Advocate for clients’ needs within educational and community settings.
- Stay current with developments in the field of behavior analysis and special education.
Requirements
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is required.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism.
- Proficiency in behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis methodologies.
- Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
- Knowledge of special education laws and practices is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical records management and HIPAA compliance.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
