Job Description: We are seeking a Lead Home Caregiver to join our team at Aspire Caregiving. The Lead Home Caregiver will be responsible for fulfilling on-call visits, training other caregivers, working as a team player, and being okay with a changing schedule (the clients you will see will change). This is a full-time position with guaranteed 40 hours of work each week. The candidate must have at least 1 year of caregiving experience and 5 days of open availability, including weekends. The candidate must also have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Responsibilities:
- Fulfill on-call visits for our clients as needed
- Train and mentor other caregivers in providing compassionate and transformational care
- Work as a team player to ensure the best possible care for our clients
- Be flexible and okay with a changing schedule
- Maintain accurate records of client care and communicate effectively with the care team
- Provide personal care, medication management, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of caregiving experience
- 5 days of open availability including weekend days
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and the care team
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
