Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Level 2 Caregivers to provide assistance and support to individuals in need. In this role, you will play a vital part in improving the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities and promoting their independence. Your care and support will help foster a nurturing environment for those we serve.
Duties:
- Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals and ensure compliance with medication schedules.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers using proper lifting techniques to ensure safety.
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Aid in meal planning, preparation, and feeding, accommodating dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Engage in social activities and provide companionship to promote emotional well-being and reduce isolation.
- Implement behavior management techniques and support clients with cognitive impairments, such as dementia.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for clients, ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols.
- Provide transportation for clients to appointments or outings, ensuring their comfort and safety.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of senior care principles, practices, and common conditions, particularly dementia and other cognitive impairments.
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in all tasks and documentation.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact in clients' lives.
- Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance.
Compensation:
