JOB DESCRIPTION The Recovery Center of Kentucky (RCOK) is looking for a highly skilled and knowledgeable leader to serve as the statewide clinical director for our Mental Health programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Providing direct supervision to mobile treatment staff, outpatient mental health, and psychiatric rehabilitation staff. Dedicating approximately 50% of work time to the direct provision of clinical services to agency clients. Ensuring services provided correspond to Kentucky mental health program model guidelines and ensure compliance with BHA, COMAR, and CARF policies and procedures. Providing managerial and fiscal oversight of all services. Providing compliance with Optum and IPP oversight.Participating in all staff recruitment and making recommendations regarding the hiring of new staff. Ensuring that all program staff receives core competency training as per KY State mental health regulations and best practices. Assisting in the preparation of reports and budgets required by regulatory agencies and BHA.Working collaboratively with team members to ensure the care coordination of clients.
REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree or higher in social work, psychology, rehabilitation counseling, or counseling.6 years of post-grad experience working with adults with severe mental illness, with a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience. Must have Kentucky state licensure as a practitioner of the healing arts. Candidates with a supervisory endorsement will receive high priority. Experience working with a diverse population and knowledge of Kentucky mental health regulations and program development required. Experience working on a multi-disciplinary team preferred. Must be available 24/7 for telephone support of staff for occasional emergencies. Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills needed. Valid driver’s license required.
