Job Summary:
Aspire Dermatology LLC seeks a highly skilled and detail-oriented Scribe/Medical Assistant to join our team. This role will provide clinical and administrative support to our healthcare providers, ensuring excellent quality of care for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with daily tasks such as verifying patient information, recording medical history, and confirming the purpose of visit using an iPad
• Prepare patients for exams and procedures, preparing equipment and instruments using proper sterilization techniques
• Clean and sanitize rooms, equipment, and instruments as needed
• Maintain inventory and supplies for clinical areas
• Answer triage and routine phone calls from patients, pharmacies, and referring providers
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
Requirements:
• Graduate of Medical Assisting Program or 1 year's experience as a Medical Assistant
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology/Anatomy preferred
• CPT/ICD 10 coding
• Strong computer and customer service skills
