Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting clinical operations within our facility. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, patient care protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Assist with filing, scheduling medical appointments, tracking medical visits.
- Perform routine clinical tasks such requesting medical dictation notes from health care providers, procurement of medications and medical equipment.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with medical standards.
- Prepare medical paperwork for individuals served.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and optimal individual served experiences.
- Support urgent care needs by facilitating appointments for health care team evaluation and treatment, responding promptly to patient requests and coordinating necessary services.
- Uphold cleanliness and organization within the office environment to promote a safe atmosphere for individual served and staff.
Experience
- Knowledge of Excel and Word
- Previous experience in medical care settings or clinics is preferred.
- Familiarity with clerical duties
- Strong communication skills are necessary to interact effectively with individuals served, families, and healthcare team members.
- Proficiency in using medical systems for documentation and scheduling enhances operational efficiency.
