Job Title: SAP PP Consultant – Federal Operations
Location: Kansas City, MO (Onsite - 50% travel)
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Production Planning (PP) Consultant to support critical federal initiatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in optimizing production planning processes within government agencies by leveraging SAP PP expertise. This role requires a thorough understanding of federal regulations and a commitment to high standards of service delivery. This role requires US citizenship, and an active security clearance (eg. TS/SCI, public trust) is strongly preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementation & Optimization: Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP PP modules to enhance production planning, scheduling, and inventory management processes.
- Process Analysis: Collaborate with cross-functional federal teams to assess current practices and develop process improvement strategies aligned with best practices and regulatory requirements.
- System Integration: Ensure seamless integration of SAP PP with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, and QM) and external systems to support end-to-end operational efficiency.
- Training & Support: Develop training materials and conduct user training sessions; provide ongoing support and troubleshooting to federal staff.
- Compliance & Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, user requirements, and project deliverables; ensure adherence to federal guidelines and standards.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between technical teams and federal stakeholders to align business objectives with technical solutions.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Security Clearance: Active security clearance is preferred.
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in SAP PP implementation and support, preferably within a federal or government setting.
- Technical Expertise: Proven proficiency in SAP Production Planning including configuration, module integration, and process optimization.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and experience in business process analysis with a focus on continuous improvement initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate – Production Planning & Manufacturing).
- Experience working in federal environments and familiarity with government procurement processes and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Salary : $100,000 - $180,000
