Now interviewing for a Residential Recovery Coach position at Mockingbird Hill Recovery Center located in Anderson, IN!
Aspire Indiana Health is a nonprofit provider of comprehensive “whole health” services including primary medical care, behavioral health, recovery services and programs addressing the social drivers of health such as housing and employment. Aspire has health centers in five Central Indiana counties serving Hoosiers of all ages and walks of life.
Position Summary
The Residential Recovery Coach will provide substance use/behavioral health related services to clients and their families in residential treatment settings to achieve the client’s identified goals in accordance with Aspire’s substance use disorder treatment philosophy.
Education/Experience
- High School Diploma/Equivalent required and 2 years of substance use disorder experience required OR
- A Bachelor’s degree in Addictions Studies, Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field from a college/university accredited by the US Department of Education and 1 year of substance use disorder experience required
- Two (2) or more years of experience working in the recovery field highly preferred
Certification
- Any certification in recovery and/or peer recovery coaching (LAC, ICAADA, CAPRC I, CAPRC II, CRS), a plus

- Deep personal commitment to the Mission, Vision, and work of the Aspire
- Strong ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle highly confidential information with professionalism
- Must be able to work nights, weekends and/or holidays
- Must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting
- Must be able to respond appropriately and effectively in crisis situations by using good judgment and following Aspire protocols
- Demonstrate knowledge and application of utilizing social service systems (Medicaid, Social Security, Corrections, etc.)
- Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and sufficient auto insurance in order to attend external meetings and events throughout the community
