Work-life balance with a Monday to Friday schedule (except Federal holidays) between 5 : 00 a.m. and 3 : 30 p.m.
Compensation :
Base : $21.37 / hourtake home
H&W : $4.57 / hourallocated for medical, dental, vision, or cash in lieu of benefits
Total Compensation (Base H&W) : $21.37 $4.57= $26.84 / hour
PTO : up to 80 hours annually (accrued per pay period)
Sick Leave : up to 56 hours annually (accrued per pay period)
Federal Holidays Paid
Responsibilities :
Assist Dental Officer in various dental specialty sections
Enter patient information into the Bureau Electronic Medical Record (BEMR)
Prepare dental instruments, materials, and medications
Provide dental health education and screening examinations
Perform routine oral prophylaxis and assist in emergency cases
Maintain dental equipment and perform sterilization procedures
Requirements
Specialty training or certification from an accredited Dental Assistant school
CPR certification from the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association
Minimum of two (2) years of Dental Assistant experience
Training in dental radiology and radiology safety
