Paramedic at Bayne-Jones Army Community Hospital
Responsibilities:
- Respond to emergency calls and provide on-scene medical care
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
- Assist in the transport of patients to medical facilities
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and emergency personnel
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
- Continuously monitor patients' condition and provide necessary interventions
- Ensure the cleanliness and readiness of medical equipment and supplies
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Completion of an accredited paramedic training program
- Current certification as a Paramedic
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- CPR and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy objects
- Experience: Possess a minimum of 1 year experience as a Paramedic
- License: Louisiana State Paramedic License
- Certification: National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians
- Active ACLS ,BLS, and PALS Certifications by the American Heart Association

- Rate: $22.43/hour
- Health & Welfare: $4.57/ hour
- Total (Rate H&W): $27.00/hour
- On-Call Rate: $3.00/hour
