Aspire Medical Staffing is looking for a Pharmacy Technician to provide services at the Naval Branch Health Clinic Kings Bay, GA.
Compensation:

Compensation:
- Pay: $17.47/hour
- Health & Welfare: $4.57/hour- allocated for medical, dental, vision, or as cash in lieu of benefits
- Total Compensation: $22.04/hour

- Naval Branch Health Clinic Kings Bay, GA
- Monday through Friday, between the hours of 0630 to 1730, and Saturday and holidays from 0700 to 1730. The clinic is closed on Sundays
- Utilize pharmacy computer and robotic systems in accordance with MTF protocols
- Adhere to essential policies and procedures, including those relating to proper use of medications and the formulary
- As prescribed by pharmacists, HCWs will fill outpatient prescription orders, perform narcotic breakout/vault duties and inpatient pharmacy duties if needed based on current staffing levels and if a HCW has successfully completed the Personnel Qualification Standards (PQS) for these areas
- Perform extemporaneous compounding and provision of bulk medications, ensuring there are no chemical and/or physical incompatibilities
- Utilize available medication information reference materials
- Provide patient medication information and counseling
- Order medications using the DMLSS system as allowable per Department of Defense policies
- Educate and orient self and other staff members to the operations and policies of the pharmacy department and clinic
- Answer telephone call questions from patients or hospital staff on pharmacy related issues
- Customer Service Accountability
- Perform a full range of pharmacy technician procedures
- Perform pharmaceutical dispensing duties including filling new outpatient prescriptions, refilling prescriptions, and entering orders into databases
- Perform information consultation duties including supporting new and refill prescriptions, supporting patient requests, supporting physician's requests, monitoring for drug interactions, and reporting adverse drug reactions
- Perform quality improvement duties including performing drug storage inspection, reviewing expired supplies, and producing error and workload reports and documentation. Perform supply process duties including placing new orders, stocking/restocking shelves, inventory maintenance, producing not in stock reports
POSITION QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS:
- Certificate. Certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
- Education: Graduate from a formal pharmacy technician program accredited by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) or a formal pharmacy technician program (i.e., technical, hospital, or retail-based program)or a formal medical services training program of the United States Military
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year full-time experience as a Pharmacy Technician within the last 3 years
- U.S. Citizenship: HCWs performing under this contract shall be U.S. citizens
- BLS Certification through the American Heart Association
