POSITION SUMMARY: The Trainer is responsible for assisting the Senior Quality Administrator with planning, coordinating, and conducting, training activities as needed to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Coordinate regulatory and specialized training to ensure compliance. The Trainer will also assist in maintaining training records, coordinating training efforts, and assisting with internal audits & data analysis as needed.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver training and help reinforce standards, expectations, goals, and ideals of the Company to all new and existing employees.
  • Handle sensitive employee information and documents while maintaining confidentiality as required.
  • Coordinate/schedule initial and recurrent training for employees and provide technical support as required.
  • Deliver various GSE training to employees as needed (boom lift, scissor lift, forklift, tug, etc.)
  • Organize and maintain training records in training software. Provide reports for internal and external customers. Ensure documents and reports are accurately produced and up-to-date, and files are well-maintained.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or when a need is identified.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 5 years of overall aviation related experience, to include a minimum of 1 year experience directly related to training.
  • Proficient in data entry and creation of MS Excel templates and spreadsheets, and MS PowerPoint presentations.
  • Ability to learn and be independently competent with company Training software.
  • Ability to convey clear and concise material to others in a training capacity.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Familiarity with part 145 Repair Station Training requirements.
  • Experience in creating training materials for the aviation industry.
  • Associates degree or higher in a relevant field.

  • Must be able to understand, read, write and speak Standard English, including technical, aircraft and quality control-related vocabulary, for technical and general business correspondence and for producing work products.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This job operates in indoor and, occasionally, outdoor settings. The indoor settings include office and warehouse/airplane hangar environments which require the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines and safety gear. The outdoor settings include airplane runways and parking lots. The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud. Occasionally subject to varying inside and/or outside temperatures, which may include extreme heat (temperatures above 100 degrees) or extreme cold (temperatures below 32 degrees).

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand. The employee frequently is required to use the fingers to make small movements such as typing, picking up small objects, or pinching fingers together. This would also occasionally require the ability to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. Sedentary work; sitting, computer, data entry work most of the time in an office environment.

Light work; exerts up to 20 lbs. occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. frequently. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, color vision acuity, and the ability to adjust focus.

TRAVEL: There is no travel expected for this position.

WORK AUTHORIZATION/SECURITY CLEARANCE: Must be able to legally work in the US without sponsorship. Must be able to pass a post offer DOT drug test upon hire.
