Role Overview:
As a Program Instructor at Aspire of Illinois, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Your primary responsibility will be to design and implement engaging curricula that promote skill development and enhance daily life for our participants.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement curricula in the program area to meet specific standards and norms
- Facilitate training for DSPs and individuals served on standards and norms
- Evaluate and assess individuals for interests, dreams, goals, skill strengths, and areas of needed skill development
- Create and score outcome measurement tools
- Maintain familiarity with individualized clinical programs and implement them accordingly
- Monitor individuals' health, behavior, clothing, and hygiene, and take corrective action when necessary
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Valid Illinois Driver's License with a good driving record
