Job Summary
Aspire Rural Health Systems is seeking a full-time Echo/Vascular Tech to join our Radiology department. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing echocardiograms and vascular studies to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality echocardiograms and vascular studies to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret results and provide critical information for patient care.
- Ensure that all imaging is conducted with precision and care, utilizing a deep understanding of ultrasound technology and anatomy.
Requirements
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification.
- Completion of an accredited ultrasound technology program.
- Current CPR certification.
- Experience in a clinical setting performing echocardiograms and vascular studies.
- Additional certifications in cardiac or vascular ultrasound.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Work Environment
The Echo/Vascular Tech will work at multiple hospital locations, including Marlette, Cass City, and Deckerville. Marlette will be the home location, and the tech will need to travel to all locations as required.
Working Hours
The Echo/Vascular Tech will work full-time hours, which include 3-12 hour shifts, including day shifts during the week and night shifts on weekends and holidays. We offer full benefits to our employees.
