We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dietary Manager to lead our dietary team and ensure residents receive nutritious, well-balanced meals in a caring and respectful environment.
Position Summary:
The Dietary Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the dietary department, including menu planning, food preparation, staff supervision, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and supervise the activities of the dietary department
Develop and manage menus that meet the nutritional needs of residents in accordance with physicians’ orders and dietary guidelines
Ensure food is prepared and served in a safe, sanitary, and timely manner
Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including dietary and infection control standards
Manage food and supply inventory and ordering
Train, schedule, and evaluate dietary staff
Collaborate with nursing staff and dietitians to meet individual dietary needs
Monitor resident satisfaction and adjust services accordingly
Qualifications:
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or willingness to obtain certification within 6 months of hire

Minimum of 2 years of experience in food service management, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Excellent communication and team-building abilities
Knowledge of state and federal dietary regulations (CMS, OSHA, etc.)
