Aspire Talent Solutions is partnered with a growing marine service and repair organization in their search for a Marine Engine & Accessory Sales Associate in the Sarasota, FL area. The company is a Mercury Marine Platinum Certified Dealer , Premier Service Center , and Repower Center specializing in Mercury Marine Outboard, MerCruiser, and the new V-12 engines . This position will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing the sales strategies for all Marine Engines, Electronics, and other Accessories.
Responsibilities :
- Drive sales by seeking out new business opportunities, developing new and existing customer relationships, and representing our company with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Lead new sales opportunities through networking, cold calling, door to door sales, and participation in industry events and boat shows
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with prospects and existing clients, providing exceptional customer service and guidance throughout the sales processes
- Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and prospects, highlighting capabilities, services, and value propositions via cold calling, door to door sales, networking events, and other applicable avenues
- Identify and build partnerships with industry peers to encourage company brand recognition and revenue opportunities for core and complementary products
- Negotiate pricing and terms of sales agreements pursuant to company policies and procedures
- Review all service jobs and upsell on relevant products as recommended
- Respond to all sales leads in a timely manner; follow up on all quotes to close sales, overcome customer objections, and address any concerns; drive post-sales communication to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and increase recurring sales opportunities
- Develop short- and long-term sales and GTM strategies to achieve revenue targets; conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities and channels
- Maintain CRM and provide status and activity reports to President
- Support social media marketing efforts as ‘the face’ of the organization
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of product lines, including technical specifications, customization options, and after sales services to effectively address customer inquiries and concerns
- Continually review and refine product knowledge of represented Marine Products; stay abreast of competitive products and features
- Attend Marine Industry forums and events; organize, plan, and host company events when applicable
- Travel to marinas, private slips, events, and other locations as required
- Perform other duties as assigned
