Qualified or Associate Professional
1 Year Prior Experience Working with Youth in a Group Environment is REQUIR ED.
Lead psychoeducational groups with at-risk and Juvenile Justice involved youth to improve communication and coping skills Facilitate interactive groups that promote client engagement and disclosure.
Provide positive behavioral support. Utilize the behavior system as trained and in a consistent manner, follow procedures for on-site and off-site activities.
Complete required daily documentation within specified timelines.
Provide transportation for youth with a company van. Build and maintain relationships with Community Partners. (DJJ, School, etc) to promote public knowledge about the program and gain referrals.
Provide supportive counseling and therapeutic mentoring.
Link youth and their family to needed resources available in the community. Attend supervision meetings, general staff meetings, and collaborative meetings with other agencies.
Help create and maintain a supportive environment for youth and families.
Assist in ongoing development and refining of program.
To act professionally and in the best interests of the company and youth served .
To role model appropriate and expected behavior of youth.
Complete all necessary training. Ensure accountability of SMART Goals set Drug testing, DMV, and Criminal Background check REQUIRED. J
Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Hours: M-F (four days are from 12pm - 8pm, one day is an office day where hours are flexible and can be during the daytime) Starting Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on education and experience
