Job Title: Business Analyst Credit Risk

Location: DMV Area - Onsite (Local Candidates Only)
Contract: 6 months

Job Description:

We are seeking a Business Analyst with specialized experience in Credit Risk to join our client's team. This role will support a key project within the loan origination and credit risk cycle, and the ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of credit risk processes and how they integrate with financial applications.

Required skills:

• Proven experience in credit risk or finance roles, particularly in the loan origination and credit risk cycle.
• Strong expertise in Excel, including advanced formula use (e.g., v-lookups, pivot tables, etc.) and the ability to analyse requirements within Excel models.
• Familiarity with the loan life cycle and understanding how credit risk integrates into each phase of that cycle.
• Ability to critically assess business requirements, ask the right questions, and provide actionable feedback. We are looking for someone who can challenge assumptions and bring solutions to the table, not simply document what users tell them.
• Experience with Agile methodologies is a nice to have, but not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills, able to work directly with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure requirements are understood and executed effectively.
• Local to the DMV area this is an on-site role that requires you to be at the client's location 4 days a week.
