Position Description:
This role will be part of a team responsible for maintaining and supporting all technical aspects of the Oracle Fusion Cloud applications. This role would be primarily responsible for the design, implementation and day-to-day operations of the Oracle integrations and the peripheral custom build applications. This role will work with the implementation partner and business teams to understand all the current interfaces and custom artifacts, ensure that they are properly documented and make any changes to these as needed by the business teams post go-live.
We are looking for a candidate with an in-depth understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud architecture, and the different tools that are used for building peripheral applications and integrating Oracle Fusion Cloud applications with internal & external systems. The ideal candidate must be a team player who is reliable, enthusiastic, committed, customer focused, and should have strong collaboration skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- 5 years of experience with integrating Oracle Fusion applications with external systems and working knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is mandatory.
- 3 years with creating custom layouts for printing checks, purchase orders etc.
- 3 years of experience with building peripheral applications that integrate closely with the Oracle Fusion applications.
- Experience in leading full projects involving Requirements, Design, Testing and Roll-out.
- Comfortable with Oracle Fusion data dictionary and the relationship between various objects, to quickly understand requirements and design solutions.
- Excellent collaborative and verbal/written communication skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Combines strong business acumen/experience in the Finance/ HR/ Payroll areas and deep IT knowledge.
- Experience with custom DFF fields, fast formulas and other Oracle Fusion configurations is desirable.
- Experience with building Peripheral applications using APEX is desirable.
- Demonstrated initiative to stay current on technology advancements.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, test & deploy new integrations and changes needed to existing Oracle Fusion integrations.
- Design, build, test & deploy new peripheral custom applications and changes needed to existing custom builds.
- Manage the impact of the Oracle Cloud ERP, EPM, and HCM quarterly releases and other patch deployments to the various integrations and printing from the fusion applications.
- Design, build, test and deploy the different print forms needed within the Oracle Fusion applications using BI Publisher. For eg. Deploying updates to the check print forms, purchase order form etc.
- Administer the technical aspects of Oracle Fusion applications including the batch scheduling, OIC configurations, and fast formulas.
- Monitor Oracle integrations & custom builds proactively to ensure their reliability, integrity and recoverability.
- Troubleshoot issues and work with internal staff and third-party vendors if there are any issues and drive any issues to resolution.
- Design and implement best practices to administer and enhance the functionality, reliability and security of Oracle Fusion Cloud integrations.
- Document integrations and process flows.
- Cross-train other technical team members to cross-train on integrations, print forms and other technical configurations.
Other responsibilities of an Oracle Fusion integration developer may include understanding the business processes and application configurations in-depth, data encryption and other duties as assigned.
