Real Estate Valuation Consultant
Responsibilities:- Conduct complex valuations for diverse real estate investments across multiple property types and locations.
- Manage the valuation process, including scope analysis, data collection, and model preparation.
- Present valuation results clearly and concisely.
- Analyze and develop investment assumptions based on business plans.
- Handle multiple projects and data collection workflows efficiently.
- Apply valuation methods such as Discounted Cash Flow (Argus, Excel), Sales Comparison, and Cost Approach.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis as needed.
- 5-10 years in commercial real estate and private credit valuation (valuation/appraisal, Big 4, or financial advisory firm).
- Strong expertise in real estate financial modeling and transaction structuring.
- Knowledge of valuation standards (USPAP, IFRS) and financial reporting (ASC 820).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Technical knowledge of corporate finance, valuation methods, and accounting.
- Proficiency in Argus Enterprise, MS Excel, and familiarity with Costar, Bloomberg, Capital IQ.
- Experience in business and debt valuation is a plus.
- Highly organized with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting, Finance, or Economics preferred.
