Our expertise spans complex denials, aged accounts receivable, motor vehicle accidents, workers’ compensation, Veterans Affairs, and out-of-state Medicaid. We foster a results-oriented work environment that is both challenging and rewarding, offering opportunities for professional and personal growth.

Role Overview:

The Senior Client Integration Data Engineer plays a crucial role in onboarding new clients by optimizing data imports, extracts, and automation processes. This position requires expertise in healthcare data exchange standards, including HL7 (ADT, ORU, SIU), X12 (270/271, 837/835), NCPDP, and FHIR, as well as EPIC, Cerner, and MediTech systems and data formats. • Assist clients in aligning with Aspirion’s data specifications and maintain a repository of standardized responses and best practices.
  • Configure Aspirion platforms for new client data integration and ensure compatibility.
  • Implement automated testing and validation processes to ensure data exchange stability and integrity.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data issues during UAT, QA, and post-go-live Hypercare support.
  • Escalate unresolved issues, standardization needs, and deviations from data specifications.
  • Develop and maintain clean, efficient code in Python or C# while leveraging cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) for automation.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HITRUST, and other data security standards, including data encryption, access control, and audit logging.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git) to streamline data integration workflows.
  • Continuously optimize data processing workflows for improved efficiency and performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
  • Minimal 8 years of experience in data engineering within the healthcare industry.
  • Strong experience in ETL, data integration, and healthcare data formats.

  • Experience with EPIC, Cerner, and MediTech systems and data formats.

  • Understanding of modern software design patterns: Microservices architecture, RESTful API development.
  • Hands-on experience with development tools: Git, automated testing, DevOps methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: Ability to troubleshoot and optimize data processes.
  • Excellent communication skills: Ability to collaborate across teams and with stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
