What do we need?
We’re looking for a junior to mid-level UX/UI Designer to support the day-to-day design needs of our product and engineering teams. Reporting to our Lead Product Designer, you’ll focus primarily on the execution and delivery of UX/UI design artefacts for our internal enterprise tools—business-critical applications used by analysts, legal, accounting, and other operations teams.
This is a production-focused role in a fast-paced, real-world environment where consistency, clarity, and efficiency matter more than aesthetic experimentation. You’ll also contribute to lightweight user research, helping us better understand our users and shape upcoming features.
What will you provide?
- Deliver design artefacts including wireframes and interactive prototypes
- Translate product requirements and user stories into usable interfaces and buildable schematics
- Support and extend our existing design system—working within established patterns first and proposing additions when necessary
- Collaborate closely with the Lead Designer, product managers, and developers
- Participate in regular feedback and handoff cycles to ensure alignment and delivery
- Assist with user research activities (e.g. user interviews, shadowing, a/b testing, synthesis, etc.), spending up to 25% of your time in support of discovery efforts
- Contribute to interactions and workflows that complement our machine learning-powered systems, ensuring clarity and human-centered intervention where appropriate
Requirements
- Detail-oriented and process-driven—you like making things clean, not clever
- Comfortable working within tight constraints and structured environments
- Energized by the challenge of subtracting complexity—refining dense workflows into simple, clear solutions
- Curious about how design intersects with automation and ML, and how we can inject human users into the loop when and where it matters most
- Ready to grow your skills through mentorship, peer critique, and hands-on work
- Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (we’re a Figma team)
- Solid grasp of layout, hierarchy, accessibility, and usability principles
- Familiarity with user-centered design practices and research workflows
- Experience contributing to or working within a design system
- Clear communication and comfort working with cross-functional teams
- Portfolio or work samples showing structured, usable design work for complex workflows
Education and Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in a UX/UI or Product Design role
- No specific degree required
- Previous experience designing internal tools, dashboards, enterprise interfaces, or integrating ML with design is preferred
