We are seeking a Perinatal Care Professional to join our team at Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital. This role involves providing expert care to women and newborns during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum periods. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of perinatal care principles, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in labor and delivery, adhering to AWHONN guidelines
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Manage and coordinate care for patients with varying medical needs, including those requiring advanced life support
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and treatment plans
Requirements:
- Current WI or Compact RN license
- Minimum 2 years of experience in OB with L&D experience
- BLS and Advanced NRP certifications
- Charting experience with EPIC
- Labor and Delivery competent
Work Environment:
The labor and delivery unit at Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital features 2 labor rooms and 6 post-partum beds, allowing us to maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio that adheres to AWHONN guidelines.
