Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI is seeking a Cardiopulmonary Tech II to join our team!
The Cardiopulmonary Technician II provides quality cardiovascular diagnostic services to neonates, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients, and is able to interpret patient information and understand treatment needs depending on the age of patients under care.
HOURS : 1.0 FTE / 80 hours every two weeks
Experience / Qualifications
- Knowledge of patient care standards and practices normally acquired through completion of an Associate Degree in related health sciences or equivalent.
- Associate Degree in cardiovascular, cardiopulmonary, exercise physiology, or nursing, or a bachelor's degree in cardiovascular / cardiopulmonary sciences beneficial.
- This position requires meeting the competencies of a Cardiopulmonary Technician I in cardiovascular or cardiopulmonary technology or equivalent, knowledge of routine cardiovascular pharmacological agents (indications, use and effects), and ECG interpretive skills (identification and differentiation of arrhythmia).
- Completes Basic ECG class and passes with 85% or higher within one year of hire, or tests out of class.
- Previous experience beneficial.
- Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire
