Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital in Portage, WI is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Med / Surg team!
HOURS : Full-time, 0.9 FTE; 72 hours bi-weekly; Night Shift
Experience / Qualifications :
- Knowledge of patient care standards and practices normally acquired through completion of a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience and completion of a nursing assistant course.
- One year of experience as a nursing assistant in an acute care setting beneficial or previous work experience in a post-acute care setting or nursing home beneficial.
- Prior listing on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry required with current registry recommended.
- Knowledge of patient care standards and general office practices normally acquired through completion of a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience., and courses in computer applications and medical terminology.
- Graduation from an accredited program for Health Unit Coordinators, or training / education to meet job requirements beneficial.
- Two years' experience as a Health Unit Coordinator beneficial.
- Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
