Aspirus Langlade Hospital in Antigo, WI is seeking a FACILITIES LANDSCAPER & GROUNDSKEEPER to join our team!
The Facilities Landscaper / Groundskeeper works with all project designs and bids and ensures the quality of all landscaping installations. The Landscaper / Groundskeeper provides direction and expertise in hardscape design and installations which includes retaining walls, walkways, patios, etc. The Landscaper / Groundskeeper provides supervision and oversight throughout the year on all projects relevant to the care and contracted maintenance of the grounds for Aspirus Langlade Hospital and adjacent Aspirus Clinics properties. This also includes small project coordination and recommendations / implementations with contracted service providers. This position also ensures on-going grounds safety development and follow-up. The Landscaper / Groundskeeper is also responsible for submitting an annual AWH outer buildings budget.
HOURS : Full Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every 2 weeks. Day / PM Rotation. Weekend / Holiday Rotation.
Experience / Qualifications
- Knowledge of general maintenance and grounds keeping normally acquired through receipt of a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- An Associate's degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a maintenance worker in a healthcare facility in either maintenance or plant operations.
- Previous experience in supervision, grounds maintenance, or additional education in supervision beneficial. ,
- Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
- Possesses and maintains a valid Wisconsin Driver's License required.
- Any technical / engineering certification beneficial.
- Annual competencies as required by Aspirus and / or various regulatory agencies based on entity and / or job position.
