Guaranteed Hours Per Week : 48. OT after 48 hrs worked
Shift Requirements : 12 hr Days
Float Requirements : Will float between Neuro Critical Care ICU and MSICU units, possible float to other critical care units
Weekend / Holiday Requirements : Every other weekend, every other holiday
Job Requirements
Required Certifications : WI RN License, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS preferred
Minimum Experience : 2 years minimal with 1 travel assignment preferred : Med / Surg ICU and / or Neuro ICU background with strong assessment skills in Neuro REQUIRED
Charting Experience : EPIC REQUIRED
Unit Specific Information
Unit Information : 8 bed Neuro unit with Neuro population from our Med / Surg ICU, this would include Stroke, TBI, Head injury, and Neurosurgery patients
Primary case / Procedure Type : Main procedures would be Neuro assessments and basic bedside ICU procedures (i.e. line placement, intubation). Neuro specific would include bolt and drain bedside placements with Neurosurgery and in future state caring for Neuro interventional patients.
