The Radiation Detection Technician will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and accuracy of patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Operate complex radiation detection and measurement instrumentation, including stationary imaging devices, scintillation gamma, and apparatus for in vitro counting.
- Analyze and interpret data, including results of patient studies and radioactive decay.
- Develop and maintain accurate records concerning radiopharmaceutical receiving, dispensing, and disposal activities.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree from a recognized Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
- Board Certification by the NMTCB or ARRT.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
