Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI is seeking an EVS ASSISTANT to join our ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES team!
The Environmental Services (EVS) Assistant performs the coordination of daily secretarial operations in an efficient manner including effective communication linkages within and between departments. This is accomplished by serving key customers, staff, and management through coordinated and supportive work efforts. Under the direction of the Department Director or Manager, coordinates activities relating to the requisitioning, receiving, and invoicing for environmental services supplies, office supplies, and equipment. Serves as the key coordinator for billing and invoicing.
HOURS: Full-Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every 2 weeks. PM/Night Rotation.
Experience/Qualifications
- Knowledge of office procedures normally acquired through completion of a high school diploma, with some college or technical training beneficial.
- Previous experience in an environmental services department and/or linen service beneficial.
- Possesses good communication skills, the ability to prioritize, the ability to work independently and report to a manager, accuracy and timeliness in all work products, and related work experience to develop and enhance skills.
- Computer literacy is required relative to the software programs utilized at Aspirus Health l, as well as department specific program requirements.
- Knowledge of waste streams and regulations preferred.
- Possesses problem-solving skills.
- Possesses excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Work requires continued hands-on practice with staff concurrent with this position.
- Demonstrates organization and the ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
