**Paramedic Job Description**
We are seeking a Paramedic to provide safe, comprehensive care to critically ill and/or injured patients in the pre-hospital setting and during inter-facility transports.
**Job Summary**
Seeking a Paramedic to provide critical care to patients in the pre-hospital setting and during inter-facility transports, requiring knowledge of emergency patient care standards and practices, and a valid Wisconsin Paramedic license.
**Responsibilities**
• Provide safe, comprehensive care to critically ill and/or injured patients of all ages in the pre-hospital setting and during inter-facility transports
• Understand and apply specialized principles and techniques of transport paramedic practice, emergency procedures, and diagnostics
• Work in a team environment with Critical Care Paramedics, Registered Nurses, and EMTs to provide high-quality patient care
**Requirements**
• Knowledge of emergency patient care standards and practices normally acquired through completion of an accredited Paramedic program
• Active Wisconsin Paramedic license
• Active Paramedic license/certification in the State of Wisconsin and Michigan or will obtain dual license within 120 days of hire
• Current BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Valid Driver's license in the State of residency
• Current Paramedic National Registry licensure preferred
• Certified Emergency Vehicle Operations (CEVO) or Emergency Vehicle Operating Certification (EVOC) or training
**Work Schedule**
• Full-time position, 0.9 FTE or 72 hours per pay period
• 24-hour shift rotation
