Aspirus Stanley Hospital in Stanley, WI is seeking a PHARMACY TECHNICIAN to join our RETAIL PHARMACY team! The Pharmacy Technician performs accurate and timely preparation and distribution of pharmaceutical products.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Medication filling.
- Direct customer contact – answering phones, operating the register.
- Working directly with healthcare providers.
- Inventory management and prescription entry.
- Insurance processing.
Experience/Qualifications *Willing to train!
- Knowledge of organizational and project management practices normally acquired through completion of a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Customer service skills and experience are beneficial.
- Experience in a health-related field, pharmacy, and computers beneficial.
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification is beneficial.
- Application for a WI Pharmacy Technician registration required to start.
