Job Description
We are seeking a Surgical Technologist to join our team at Aspirus Ironwood Hospital in Ironwood, MI.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists RN and physician during operative and invasive procedures.
- Cleans and sterilizes surgical instruments.
- Ensures availability and condition of supplies.
- This position will work in the OR and Endoscopy.
Requirements
- Knowledge of patient care standards normally acquired through completion of a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- One year of healthcare/patient care experience required.
- Former operating room surgical tech experience or a graduate of a surgical tech program strongly preferred.
- BLS certification.
